Blue Layer
The blue layer describes the activities for the Sandbox Tycoon® prototype system that relate to the configuration required for maintaining your transactional data. You first need to finalise the steps associated to the external financial reporting preparation and enterprise structure (brown layer) and master data (green layer).
You will find out that there is not much configuration necessary to use functionality that will be used within a specific department in your model company. Therefore primary emphasis will be on the integration between departments within the company to allow a smooth flow of information, goods and money.
